My lower-drawdown portfolio

Logic Core

The steadier of my two rules-based ETF portfolios, traded with my own money. It rotates between a 2x S&P 500 ETF (SSO) and T-bill ETFs (BOXX or SGOV), aiming to beat buy-and-hold over the medium to long term with much smaller drops along the way.

How it works

Simple rules. Very few trades.

  1. ETFs only

I rotate between SSO and BOXX or SGOV. No stock picking, no charts to read.

  2. 3–5 trades a month

A low trade frequency that fits around a full-time job.

  3. Signal at 4:15 PM ET

Posted every trading day, 15 minutes after the close. I place my own trades within minutes of posting.

  4. Done in minutes

Place the after-hours order in your brokerage app. Your phone is all you need.

Who it fits

A medium- to long-term horizon and a medium risk tolerance. Smaller drops than Logic Max, in exchange for lower returns.

Live results

My real account

I started trading Logic Core with my own money in Jan 2026. These are my actual results, next to what the simulation and the S&P 500 did over the same period.

Since Jan 2026 · as of Sep 30, 2026

My account+4.50%
Simulation+5.35%
S&P 500+11.77%

My account is 0.85 percentage points behind the simulation so far, mainly because I trade a few minutes after the 4:15 PM ET signal instead of at the close.
